Wagner Spray Tech is a market leader in advanced paint applicators, developing a wide array of painting and decorating products used in home improvement, commercial painting and industrial fine finishing. As a highly innovative company in bringing color, protection, and functions to surfaces, they needed a strong Employer Brand to reach their high-tech engineering and manufacturing prospects. Our challenge was to identity and validate the enduring truth about the “why work at Wagner” experience, and help to express it in rich and relevant ways that inspire and guide employee recruitment.

Through an engagement survey and focus groups, we discovered Wagner SprayTech is a company where curious, ambitious, and ready-to-get things done people work together to make an impact for customers, the business, industry, and people around the world. Wagner’s promise to employees centered around the idea of “the power of yellow to transform the world” through their global strength but small company advantage, bold ideas, and contributions to a greater purpose. Every dollar Wagner makes goes back into the community or invested back into the company. The concept elevated the meaning of Wagner’s brand color to demonstrate how employees embody the spirit of the color yellow – bold, uplifting, optimistic.
